   This quote means that if you must do the right thing when ever you are given a decision in life. Doing the right things can not only help you gain integrity in doing a good action but also the person is giving thanks to your great deed. For example  if you loose $50 for your entrens  at a event, but someone else found them they  can either take the money or run after you to return the $50. The person who returns the money back is making a decision that is right. The other person is not showing any integrity and has ruin your day.
