Kindness is the key to being a better person. Showing that you are kind and caring to others is very important.You must be kind to all in which you now. Kindness makes a better world for everyone. Kindness can feel very good to you and to others in any way you express it.For example if you let an elder sit in your seat in a bus or if you pay for someone else's  grocery's.

Thanksgiving week

During my thanksgiving week I did my usual work I took care of my siblings while my parents were at work. We had a yard sale at my house during the my first weekend . But over all I pretty much stayed home during break with my family. I practically just spend my time with homework, late work, extra credit, cleaning, cooking, and taking care of my siblings. A good part is that I did have a partial timer to myself and I watched my TV shows. I did not meet new people but on my first day back i met my moms friends daughter that came from Mexico and now studies at Libra.I did not go out much, but if you consider going out to the market or to the store than yes I did go out. Well we did go out and watch the new movie Mona. I had to finish reading a book for English as a homework assignment called  “Night” and I had to write three essays during my thanksgiving week. I would have preferred a nice thanksgiving week where I didn’t have to work as much and relax. Yes well we watched a soccer game America against Chivas  it was a great game. It was my mother's birthday so we spend time together as a family. I watched the Flash, Vampire Diaries, Super girl, and other shows during the week.

This quote means that if you know what is the right thing to do do it. But if you know it's wrong and unjustifiable than don’t do it for if you do it than you will be making the wrong decision.If you know something is not the truth  than don’t say it because if you do than it can affect someone very deeply. But if you know something is  true then make an effort and say it. Making the right decision in choosing the right is very important. An example for this is that some people make up lies for their own benefit like a girl tells her friend that her boyfriend is cheating on her just to make them get into a fight. Another example is that if you know that drugs are bad for yourself than don’t do them.                                                                                          

Thanksgiving

History: Thanksgiving all began during 1621, with the Plymouth colonists and the Wampanoag Indians shared an autumn harvest feast that is acknowledged today as the first thanksgiving celebration in the colonies. For more than two centuries we've been celebrating thanksgiving.

• I am thankful for the roof over my head that my parents work so hard on to keep and maintain

This quote means that it is more important to do the right thing and honorable thing than thinking of  winning or losing.Winning or losing is not what is important but doing the right thing is very much so the most important thing you can do in life. This quote also means that as long as you make the right decision of doing the right thing the right way is you are no winner nevertheless no loser. Taking the honorable step in winning or losing  is more important. As long as you make the right/honorable decision and play fair you are a winner. No matter what happens at the end  of all this you are taking the right / honorable decision for yourself. For example if you find 100 dollars in a restaurant and just take them without asking the lady/ man in the restaurant you are doing the wrong thing.   

What is Veterans Day?

• It is a Federal holiday in which we honor the brave men and woman of the armed forces who risk their life for our freedom.

When is it?

• Veterans Day is on November 11 every year since 1954.

What is the purpose of Veterans Day?

• The purpose to of veterans day is to honor the people who help us get our freedom every day of our life.

Why is it important to show honor on Veterans Day?

• It is important because this way you get to acknowledge the sacrifices they’ve made while serving the country.

List several ways to show honor and respect on Veterans Day.

• A way to honor veterans is by changing one light bulb to green.
• Say thank you
• Deliver meals or care packages to veterans
• etc.

• What is interesting is that the first Veterans Day was on 1938. We’ve been celebrating this holiday since then.
