Medical Volunteer Opportunities 

#1: Care Partner - Oncology/ Med-Surge Volunteer  

Location:4867 sunset Blvd Volunteer services Department Los Angeles, CA 90027 

Duties: 

• Greet members as they enter the department  
• Orient the patients to their room upon admission 
• Round(check-in)on patients 
• Act as a companion for appropriate patients 
• Deliver blankets, towels, washcloth, etc. 

 #2: Material management Volunteer 

Location:4867 sunset Blvd Volunteer services Department Los Angeles, CA 90027 

Hours of Service: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00  

Duties: 

• Answering telephone and relaying messages, documenting on the call log sheet 
• Deliver items to the nursing units and clinics 
• Inventory and maintain supply par levels on product shelves  
• Process mail slips 
• Assist with various department projects as requested  
• Accept deliveries  
• Photocopy and file  

#3: Care Partner –Nursing Floors  

Location:4867 sunset Blvd Volunteer services Department Los Angeles, CA 90027 

Morning Shift: 8 a.m. - Noon 

Afternoon Shifts: Noon - 4 p.m. and 4 - 8 p.m 

Duties: The Care Partner volunteer will assist in the daily operations related to the Patient Care Environment and support the ward clerks and. Or nursing staff.
